Ideal candidate
University degree in marine engineering required
Min 5 years of experience in technical / project management
Understanding and overview of project management and risk management
Very good communication and management skills
Good leadership and team player skills.
Fluent in English (write/speak/read)
Good personal organization
Shore experience with docking management activities required
Familiar with Quality systems (ISO 90001) and HSE
Job description
To ensure proper specification, budget and execution of dry dock periods of a fleet of 200 vessels
Responsibilities:
Overall management and direct supervision of the dry-docking office project team
Manage and support the dry docking field / flying team in order to comply with Company standards and policies, dry-dock schedule , client requirements and budget
To control dry- dock specification and costs ; ensure on time delivery
To ensure the smooth process flow and interface between all entities involved within the dry docking process : client, purchasing, logistics, project and flying team
To manage the relationship with Shipyards : negotiation, benchmark, slot booking
To manage good customer relationships and ensure the proper level of cooperation and communication is in place.
Ensure all costs and specifications are reviewed together with the Clients during the complete dry docking process
Coordinate all issues within drydock postdelivery warranty period
To control and review technical , invoicing and financial reports
Occasional travel abroad
Specific training period on-board of Bourbon vessels on West Africa shipyards
